Description
Look at this knockout, all-original circa 1972 Heuer Autavia Viceroy measuring 42×47.5mm with original (scratchless) crystal, notched pushers, original crown, hands, bezel, and close-to-pristine dial! The Viceroy was a marketing success with Viceroy cigarettes and Heuer’s advertising partnership, whereby the purchaser mailed in the cigarette carton end flap along with $88 and you received this Heuer Viceroy in the mail! This was a great deal, as other Autavias were about $220 at the time. These ads appeared in Popular Science, Life, and Popular Mechanics magazine from 1972-1974. The caliber 12 automatic movement was just cleaned and is accurate with all functions operating flawlessly. The case has not been overpolished and is without any major flaws. This is a clean and original example of a Heuer Viceroy.
