Description
This is a very cool and massive Omega Speedmaster 125 measuring 42mm in a heavy and 15.5mm-thick case. We have kept this case unpolished and original. The original Omega bracelet is newer and pristine. It is so uncommon to find an original case that has not been restored or polished, making this a special piece. Furthermore, all of the hands are original; with the two chrono hands aging to a yellowish tone. Normally, people will replace the hands once they age – the previous owner left this watch completely original. The dial looks great, as does the mineral glass crystal. The Omega crown is original. This fine automatic winding chronograph movement meets chronometer standards, which was very rare for a chronograph from this time. Our watchmaker meticulously dismantled and cleaned this movement and it is accurate, with all functions working perfectly. What a great example of a very cool 1972 vintage Omega chronograph.
