The vintage 1972 Rolex Oysterdate is truly one of the most understated of all the vintage Rolex watches. The 34mm stainless steel case gleams on this example. The wide polished bezel offers a perfect frame to the elegantly laid out dial. The steel Rolex Oyster bracelet displays very good condition, and is likely original to the watch. The silver dial and baton hands are original. These manual winding Rolex movements are among the most reliable of the movements from the era. Without the automatic rotor, these watches suffer less wear and repairs. I just love these.
