1972 Tudor Advisor Alarm Watch

Description

This is an unused, extremely rare example of a ref. 10050 Tudor Advisor alarm watch (by Rolex) from 1972, complete with the original box, guarantee, and hang tag! The 34.5mm stainless steel, non-oyster, three-piece screw back case is unused, with all its sharp edges and original sticker. The original Rolex Oyster bracelet is new as the day it was made – tight, having very stiff hinges. This watch is keeping time and the alarm buzzes long and loudly. This was the final model produced of the Advisor line, which never did sell well, hence, very few of these watches ever surface. This ref. 10050 was produced from 1969-1977, then, discontinued for good. this watch only has superficial marks from handling over the past 37 years and the case back has never been opened since the factory. These watches were manually wound and housed a Tudor movement (made by Rolex). The upper crown set the time and wound the watch, whilst the lower wound the alarm mechanism.
