As time goes on, I am finding fewer of these full-sized 1970s Omega Seamaster chronometers. These watches are the Rolex-equivalent (in my opinion) of a perfect every-day-wearing classic watch. The stainless steel case with beefy lugs projects a balanced and masculine look on the wrist and measure a respectable 35.5mm. The screw-back raised-relief sea monster logo adds interest. This watch retains the correct Omega logo winding crown. The silver sunburst dial with black inset baton hands and markers lend a modern touch. This caliber 166.0172 movement is more special than your basic Omega caliber, due to it being rated for chronometer standards. We find much fewer of these chronometer-grade Seamasters compared to the regular calibers. This watch is keeping accurate time.
