Description
This 1975 Omega Seamaster Mariner quartz is a very uncommon watch produced from 1975 to 1981. This watch featured the first analog quartz movement, the caliber 1310. This watch obtained its name from a promotional stunt whereby two of these watches were affixed to the mast and keel of two sailing vessels in the 1976 Ostar (trans-Atlantic race) and were exposed to severe weather conditions, and survived.
