Here is a rare ref. 5700, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date Precision that dates to 1979. This Date variety of the Air-King was sold mainly in Canada and Commonwealth countries only. The date is the feature making it uncommon, as the regular and common Air-Kings do not have the date. The 35mm stainless steel case is pristine after a full and expensive overhaul by my Rolex-approved watchmaker. The rare blue dial is pristine, with raised, shimmering steel baton markers and matching hands. The original and fine Rolex Jubilee bracelet is in great shape. The automatic winding caliber 1520 movement was just meticulously cleaned and overhauled by Rolex and is keeping excellent time! We do not want to open the back after Rolex used their wrench to tighten it .
