Here is a very complete 1980 Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz in a combination of solid gold and stainless steel. The watch comes complete with guarantee papers, letters from Rolex, and Rolex service box. This watch looks new on the wrist. The 36mm Rolex Oyster case gleams and looks larger due to the wide and amazingly designed (tight) Rolex Oysterquartz bracelet (fitting up to a 7.25″ wrist), which is also solid gold and steel. The Rolex quartz movement is accurate. This watch was under development for five years and was released in 1976 with fewer models produced than the regular mechanical Datejust. The crystal is sapphire. This vintage Rolex offers a quickset date feature. These watches have a very Gerald-Genta design. The polished bracelet edges glisten as they catch the light. It is hard to find these with original papers.
