We were pleased to find this vintage 1980s Corum $5 coin (1855) solid-gold watch. This women’s watch measures 23mm across and only 4.5mm thin. This 18k watch and 22k gold coin are in very fine condition, having the coin-edge case, decorative bezel, and sapphire crystal, with both sides of the 1855 $5 gold piece being visible. There are no dings or scratches to the case. The winding crown is accented and topped with a round brilliant-cut diamond, set with its culet facing up. The band and gold-plated buckle are original Corum. The understated baton hands set off the look. This is a fine original example. The quartz, quality, battery operated Corum movement is accurate.
