Here is an uncommon ref. 5700, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date Precision that dates to 1982. This Date variety of the Air-King was sold mainly in Canada and Commonwealth countries only. The date is the feature making it uncommon, as the regular and common Air-Kings do not have the date. The 35mm stainless steel case is pristine after a full and expensive overhaul by my Rolex-approved watchmaker. The rare and original blue dial is amazing, with raised shimmering steel baton markers and matching hands. The aging around the original lume dots is not at all visible with the naked eye, but only in my close-up pictures. This original and uncommon blue dial looks pristine! The original and fine Rolex Oyster bracelet is in great shape. The automatic winding caliber 1520 movement was just meticulously cleaned and overhauled! This is an investment-grade vintage Rolex that will increase in value over time.
