Here is ref. 16570 with an ‘L’ serial number dating this fine Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Explorer II watch to 1999. The entire watch was expensively cleaned, polished, and equipped with all new gaskets in February 2011. These watches are on the verge of becoming collectable due to the introduction of the new Rolex Explorer. Prices for these older versions (no longer produced) are constantly rising. The white dial is spotless, and the stainless steel case glistens. The original Rolex Explorer booklet is included but no papers are available. The Rolex Oyster (original) bracelet is tight and scratchless. I absolutely love the look of these discontinued Rolex Explorers!
