Do not be fooled by the name…the Borel cocktail watch was manufactured in the ’60s for both men and women. This version is a men’s, but could be worn by a woman as well. Measuring 32mm, this watch appears slightly larger due to the very narrow bezel and all-dial appearance. The mid-section spins with the ticking seconds creating a mesmerizing kaleidoscope effect. A lower rotating section with the two red hours indicate the hours and minutes. The case rear is a skeleton back, allowing viewing of the manual winding (just serviced) Swiss movement. The gold-filled case having dog-leg lugs has only the slightest marks from its 50+ year age. You will love wearing these Borels as they create conversation.
