Description
This vintage 1940s 18k rose-gold oversized Chronographe Suisse measures a large 37mm across and is in very fine condition without any major dings. There are always some minor (hardly visible) dings on the bezels of these watches. There are a few on this one, but the dial steals the show. The original dial is in spectacular overall shape in salmon colour with gilt reflective Arabic numerals and red telemeter and blue mph scale along with sub-seconds register. The original handset is blued steel. The original inner metal dust cover is present. This truly is one of the cleanest examples of a Chronographe Suisse chronograph. The Venus 170 Swiss-made movement is manual winding and was recently cleaned and is accurate, with all functions working perfectly.
