This vintage 1930’s or early 40’s stainless steel vintage CIVITAS Swiss made elongated watch measuring 29×42.5mm. It is uncommon to find early steel watches, as stainless steel was a newer metal used in watchmaking and difficult to form. Add to this, the long case is curved and displays amazingly clean condition. This watch was barely used over the years and was stored for many decades. The black dial is all original and really displays ultra-clean condition, considering its 75 year age. The manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. Notice the pencil hands with matching, aged lume. I really love the look of this watch on the wrist-it has true vintage style.
