The photos really depict the uncommon qualities of this fine vintage 1950’s vintage Cortebert vintage watch. This dial-suntanned and ORIGINAL really looks amazing on the wrist. The blued steel hands and luminous are again…all original. Look at these blued steel pencil style hands with deep lume. I enjoy the prominent Arabic numerals and large sub-seconds register with curved :antimagnetique” print. Stainless steel cases were difficult to work with in the early days, so we see fewer intricately style watches such as this. This watch measures 33×42.5mm. and looks larger due to the all-dial appearance. These spiral lugs are amazing. The caliber 677 Cortebert manual winding movement was cleaned and accurate. Cortebert’s history was lost in a fire in the 50’s, but their legacy lives on through the fact they produced movements for ROLEX in the early Panerai movements. This is an extraordinary 50’s vintage stainless steel watch you should not ignore for your collection.
