Look at this hard-to-find vintage, 1930s all-steel vintage driver’s watch! The 28.4x40x19.5mm, full-sized, elongated, and highly curved case fits on the side of your wrist comfortably, so one does not have to tilt their wrist to see the time whilst driving! The sunken dial was expertly restored to perfection and retains the original blued steel hands and sub-seconds. The manual winding movement is unsigned, cleaned, and is accurate. The inside case back is signed “BOUHELIERS VILLERS LE LAC.” This is the first time we have encountered this brand! It is very uncommon to find a highly curved steel driver’s watch, as stainless steel was hard to work with in the early years of watchmaking.
