Description
This vintage 1960s Elgin Skin Diver is among the most collectable of Elgins. The stainless steel 38mm case looks amazing on this example. This watch has the original turning bakelite bezel in excellent shape. The dials are what make these watches super cool. Notice the large “Explorer” style numerals and large luminous arrow markers. The hands also really ‘pop’ with the triangular hour and neon-orange diamond-tipped seconds. The day-date is even in red. The entire watch is original. The 25 jewel movement was recently serviced and is accurate. This Elgin came on a vintage coffin-style bracelet which really completes the overall look. I have priced this watch lower than any examples and it is among the cleanest available.
