This is a vintage, new-old-stock (unused) Enicar Sherpa Jet rare vintage watch! Talk about exotic, desirable, and vibrant colours – this one has it all! This hefty 36.5mm stainless steel case is like new, because it has never been worn! The screw-back, signed case is quite chunky at 10mm thick not including the crystal. It also has original twin (Enicar) signed crowns; one to set the watch, and the top to rotate the exotic, yellow inner bezel, which allows timekeeping in two time zones! The dial is absolutely vibrant and perfect, even the date numerals are red. How about that checkered 24-hour hand?! The automatic winding Enicar movement is keeping time quite well. It was made famous during Mount Everest expeditions in the 1950s, when Enicar was the chosen watch by mountain climbers, hence the name “Sherpa.” The military, new-old-stock vintage blue nylon strap matches perfectly!
