Description
This 1960s vintage Enicar chronograph is known as the “Mitter.” Gerhard Mitter was sponsored by Enicar, and was a German Czechoslovakian Formula 1 race car driver who drove between 1963 and 1967, wearing this exact model. The watch measures 37mm and the case was expertly restored with the correct starburst finish on the lugs. This watch has the fine and fabulous manual winding Valjoux 72 movement which is quite spotless and having the rarer gilt finish. This movement was just overhauled and is accurate, with the chronograph operating smoothly. The dial and hands on this watch are all original. This dial looks amazing! This is a highly coveted vintage watch.
