Favre Leuba Bathy 160

SOLD!

Click watch above…more detail will appear…

This is an EXTREMELY rare 1966 FAVRE LEUBA BATHY 160 depth gauge watch that is NOS (unused-never worn) with inner and outer box, papers, hang tag, and instructions. This GIGANTIC case measures 43.3mmx48.4×15.5mm. thick and is mirror-like, pristine. This is a professionally designed TOOL watch-the first of its kind able to register diving depths accurately up to160 feet. We found this watch stored in a FAVRE LEUBA dealer’s safe, along with some other unsold stock from the 60’s and HAD TO HAVE IT! It was expensive. The watch has NEVER been opened. There is a some fogging on the inner crystal that will easily wipe away. This is caused from the gases emitted from the luminous dial and will easily wipe away. Personally, I would leave this watch sealed to preserve its condition. The manual winding movement is keeping time. There is a screw-down winding crown and sapphire crystal. Favre Leuba is one of the world’s OLDEST watch companies-since 1718. Don’t pass by this important vintage watch in museum-like condition. I highly recommend putting this away, as it should only increase in value.
