This is an EXTREMELY rare 1966 FAVRE LEUBA BATHY 50 having a rare METRES rated dial, instead of the usual and (still rare) feet rating model. This massive steel case was recently restored by one of the finest case restorers in the world-it shines like a mirror! This GIGANTIC case measures 43.3mmx48.4×15.5mm. thick. This is a professionally designed TOOL watch-the first of its kind able to register diving depths accurately up to 45 metres. This watch was meticulously cleaned, with the depth gauge operating. The original screw-down winding crown and sapphire crystal is present. Most importantly, this incredibly rare example is one of the few in existence having its original papers! Favre Leuba is one of the world’s OLDEST watch companies.
