This vintage 70’s Girard Perregaux Olimpico Chronograph is truly a stunner. The Olympico was produced by Girard Perregaux since the 1968 Mexico olympics, and every four years since. This example is quite “pretty”, having an original and colourful pulsations dial with pencil hands. Notice the mirrored edges around the sub-registers. The 39mm. stainless steel GP case on this watch truly looks barely used. The original turning metal bezel is pristine. The manual winding GP movement gleams after a meticulous overhaul, with all functions operating flawlessly. This watch really looks splendid on the wrist. This example is very hard to find. $3250.
