Description
This vintage 1970s Girard-Perregaux Olimpico chronograph is truly a stunner. The Olimpico was produced by Girard-Perregaux since the 1968 Mexico olympics, and every four years since. This example is quite pretty, having an original and colourful pulsations dial with pencil hands. Notice the mirrored edges around the sub-registers. The 39mm stainless steel Girard-Perregaux case on this watch truly looks barely used. The original turning metal bezel is pristine. The manual winding Girard-Perregaux movement gleams after a meticulous overhaul, with all functions operating flawlessly. This watch really looks splendid on the wrist.
