Description
The Grand Seiko 5722-9991 Self-Dater appeared in 1963 and was produced until 1969. This later version is more desirable, featuring the 35-jewel, high-beat, manual-winding movement, which was recently serviced and is working very well. The 36.5mm, beefy, angular-lug steel case carries all the Grand Seiko DNA you would expect, including sharp-edged, polished dauphine-style hands. The correct winding crown is installed. The original dial, with its reflective steel baton markers, looks fabulous. These vintage Grand Seiko watches look spectacular on the wrist.
