This is a very uncommon Gruen Precision dive watch which I’ve not encountered until now. The 40mm. case is chrome with steel screw back and looks essentially like new. Both crowns are original; with the lower crown locking the bezel (for diving) and the upper to set the time. The automatic winding Gruen caliber 730 CA movement was recently cleaned and is accurate. The silver original dial shimmers! This watch appears to have never been worn. This vintage 1969 Gruen commands the eyes to the wrist.
