This is a 1971 Hamilton Automatic Pan-Europ 703 Chronograph (using the same configuration as BREITLING and HEUER movements of the era) and was amongst the very first automatic winding chronograph movements produced. The steel case with screw back measures 42.5mm. and 15mm. thick. The shimmering case is pretty well new old stock and all the edges are sharp. There are only micro-scratches on the case rear. The azure blue dial and click-locking turning bezel are as clean as you will ever find! The micro-rotor, automatic winding caliber 11 movement (with quick-set date) was just cleaned, overhauled-functioning flawlessly. This HAMILTON was $275 when purchased new.
