Description
This is the very rare and iconic vintage Heuer Monaco ref. 1133 with the automatic winding movement that is accurate, cleaned, and functioning flawlessly. Sorry but my watchmaker forgot to tell me whether this is a caliber 11 or 12! I really don’t want to dismantle this watch again as it is too clean. This is amongst the most iconic Heuer watches that needs to be included in any Heuer collection, with this example being all original and even has the original papers and bracelet. The metallic-grey dial is rarer than the usual blue dial that we find on these watches. There is no disintegration of the rubber seal. Look at the case detail – wow! This massive 40mm stainless steel case is in extremely well-preserved shape and is without any dings or scratches. Notice this watch retains the original notched pushers and Heuer winding crown. The dark-grey metallic dial is completely original and untouched, also retaining the original hands and lume. The Rodania drivers-style band and original buckle is included. This watch even has its original NSA HEUER bracelet in pristine shape! On the wrist, this Heuer Monaco looks very clean. We did not want to overpolish the crystal to risk cracking it. Many of the marks are barely visible with the naked eye. The papers are crystal clear to read in real life. It is dated to 1972 and was bought in Toronto.
