This is a very RARE vintage circa 1965 HEUER CARRERA DATO 45 that is amongst “the pinnacle of all Heuers”! This is the LAST of these fine and rare CARRERAS we will be posting any time soon, as we simply DO NOT see this appearing on the market. You can search the world and not find a finer (if any) example. This spectacular and all original watch exhibits perfect balance in shape, colour and aesthetics. The original silver dial, original steel baton hands and markers with white chrono hand and date at 9:00 truly exude the simplicity and function of what HEUER was so strongly tied to… automobile racing. The 35.5mm. full sized (12mm. thick) HEUER CARRERA case; having polished pushers and extended gleaming lugs with screw back is in very fine, glistening condition, without dings or scratches. The Landeron 189 manual winding movement was recently cleaned, overhauled and is accurate with chrono functions working flawlessly. This version of the CARERRA is the second RAREST; (measured against the version with date at 12:00), and was the first chronograph to offer this date and chrono feature. You will have a very difficult time finding one of these.
