Ikepod Seaslug GMT with Bracelet

Marc Newson is an Australian-born designer who was known for designing many items including jewelry, sculture and furniture. Newson ran a number of design companies. The Ikepod Watch Company began as a partnership between Marc Newson and Oliver Ike, a Swiss businessman in 1994. Their goal was to produce a unique watch that the market had not seen. Newson ended his relationship with IKEPOD in 2012. Collectors seek this 90’s model more than any other. The SEASLUG appeared in 1995 and was limited to 9999 units including the GMT version, as seen here. The watch does remind you of the aquatic seaslug with its soft, round lines. We usually find this watch on a rubber band and VERY RARELY does one find the original and special “bike chain” thick and beautifully designed original bracelet included here. These watches have a very purposeful look and draw many eyes to your wrist. The automatic winding ETA movement was cleaned and is accurate. The IKEPOD SEASLUG is destined to increase in value as the years go by. What an amazing loooking watch!
