Description
This is a full-sized 1950s 36mm 18k solid-yellow-gold IWC (International Watch Company Schaffhausen) having a sparkling solid-gold case with flared and extended lugs. The silver dial looks original and was expertly restored many years ago and has a very gentle fading in some lettering due to age. The original gold hands and matching markers remain. These winding crowns were not signed. The very high quality caliber 89 manual winding movement was cleaned and is accurately keeping time. This fine IWC is one of the larger-sized watches produced in the 1950s.
