Description
This large 36.3mm vintage IWC Ingenieur in stainless steel is a very clean example. The original dial has some subtle aging and retains the original Dauphine steel hands. The accurate IWC caliber 853 automatic movement was cleaned. These watches are quite uncommon and were sold to people working in highly magnetic fields. The inner extra shield protects the movement from magnetism. Notice the electric bolt insignia on the dial. The Rolex Milgauss was its competition at the time. This really is a very fine example.
