Description
This circa-1973 rare Seiko ref. 5246-6060 vintage watch is very special. The wording “special” on the dial indicates the extra care in producing both the (serviced) cal. 5200 movement and the spectacular King Seiko case. This is one of the most sought-after King Seikos. These amazing watches were produced in Japan at the the Daina factory, which manufactured very fine Seiko movements. The unpolished 35mm stainless-steel case sparkles with its incredible angular lugs. The correct winding crown is installed. The expensive and very rare faceted crystal is pristine – and if you search the net, you rarely see these correct crystals appear on these watches. This rare dial offers a wow-factor; having a vertical-brushed-teal pattern that changes shades of stunning blue when viewed at different angles. The rather rare stainless-steel King Seiko buckle is also included on an Artisan strap. This is the best example out there.
