Look at this extremely uncommon, chunky, 1960’s 37×42.5x12mm. LE COULTRE manual winding chronograph! The signed (Le Coultre) stainless steel original case with screw back and polished pushers is very clean-shimmering. The original and striking gray dial with gold sub-registers, baton hands and sweep seconds is in fine condition with only a minor mark near 3:00 that is barely noticeable with the naked eye. This dial alternated from light to dark gray depending upon the light. The wide gold bezel adds further appeal. The famous , high quality manual winding Valjoux 72 (signed Le Coultre) original movement was recently overhauled with all functions working smoothly and perfectly. The dial has three large subdials at 9:00 for the constantly running seconds, 3:00 is the 30-minute chronograph’s counte and located at 6:00 is a 12-hour counter. I cannot stress how uncommon these vintage Le Coultre chronographs are you may never see another so striking, original and CLEAN!
