Longines Sport Chief Stainless Steel 1972

Sometimes beauty appears in the simplicity of design. This stark and simple Longines dating to 1972 exemplifies minimalism. The original silver dial with its black inset baton markers and matching hands looks almost pristine. Notice the original signed Longines winding crown. I really like the font in the “Sport Chief” wording. We really don’t see many of these Sport Chief Longines, as they are rather uncommon to find. Inside this vintage watch, we find a very crisp (just serviced and accurate) caliber 280 manual winding, high quality Longines movement. The lack of automatic winding parts makes this a reliable watch to wear for many years to come. The 34mm stainless steel case is very thin; measuring just 8.4mm including the crystal. You are going to love this watch!
