This is a very early attempt at a SWISS watch company producing a waterproof watch dating to the early 1940’s. The stainless steel case is rectangular, measuring a respectable 22x43mm. with flexible (moveable) lugs and case back fastened with four screws for greater water resistance. The original dial is very attractive, having a reflective minute register, two tone (alternating) sections and original blued steel pencil hands with sub-seconds. The manual winding SWISS movement was just cleaned and is accurate. To find a STEEL rectangular watch is uncommon-add to this, an early waterproof case, makes this a VERY collectable vintage watch that will only appreciate in value over time! Please keep all vintage watches away from water, as the seals are not new!
