At WatchesToBuy.com we always try to purchase rare and interesting watches that many of you collectors have never seen before! Here is another great example. This rhodium plated early 1930’s watch is one of the earliest attempt to produce a watch with the date aperture feature! The watch measures a respectable 22.5x37mm. with some minor marks on the case; nothing detracting…it truly looks great on the wrist. The manual winding (signed) movement was just cleaned and overhauled with date functioning perfectly. Notice the great looking ORIGINAL silver dial; having raised, Breguet style numerals, blued steel hands and sub-seconds. Note the wording “BREVET” and “PATENTED” on the movement; indicating the new date “idea”.
