This 22x39mm. Sterling silver jump hour was manufactured in the 1930’s and was chrome plated on the top case with sterling silver rear. We had the watch expensively rhodium plated to look exactly like chrome….but without the premature chance of wear, as rhodium is from the platinum family and is VERY hard wearing and lustrous. The fact that this watch also displays seconds is what makes it interesting and rare. The MONTROSE manual winding movement was just overhauled, accurate and is quite fine, calibrated with four adjustments. The dial and all its’ print are clear, legible and ORIGINAL, adding to the desirability of this highly collectible vintage jump hour watch. Notice the cabochon winding crown.
