Description
This 1990s Nautische Instrumente Muhle Glashutte automatic winding watch is not vintage but we thought it looked great and we had to buy it! The anodized steel case measures a sprawling 40mm across, having a sapphire crystal, black dial with lume, Arabic markers and hands, quickset date, and red diving scale up to the 15-minute mark. The original crown screws down, as does the stainless steel signed back. Notice the bezel with tachymeter scale as well. The automatic winding ‘quickbeat’ ETA 2824-2 is a very robust movement that is keeping accurate time. This watch is mounted on a very rugged Hirsch padded and stitched leather strap accentuated with a steel fliplock buckle. We are not certain of the manufacture date and cannot find another of this model online. The original buyer purchased it in Europe a few years ago, and that is all we know! We of course know it is completely authentic and of fine quality.
