Omega Constellation 1970
This 1970 vintage Omega Constellation is a Japanese market uncommon version. The stainless steel screw observatory back case measures 33.5mm. across and 39mm. lug-to-lug. This less commonly seen pewter dial is original and without blemishes. The hands are black and needle-thin matching the black inset steel markers. This vintage Omega has a quick-set date feature. Notice the uncommon “Chronometer Officially certified” writing towards the lower part of the dial instead of normally finding it below 12:00. The correct Omega winding crown is installed as is the Omega signed hesalite crystal. The caliber 1001 movement is accurate after a recent cleaning. This watch gleams.
