Description
This is the least-common version of the Omega Geneve Chronostop known as the “Driver’s” ref. 145.010. This sporting Omega was designed to be easily viewed sideways on the wrist while driving. This variation has the caliber 865 in-house Omega manual winding movement that was made only for this particular watch by Omega. The other (more common) version has the date display. An original Omega winding crown and signed hesalite crystal is installed. This black dial was refinished. The fine manual winding caliber 865 Omega movement was just cleaned, and is working flawlessly. The 35mm stainless steel screw-back case retains the factory finish – perfect for the collector. This is an uncommon and desirable vintage watch.
