Omega Seamaster 30 from 1963

Here is an uncommon 1963 OMEGA SEAMASTER 30. This is one of the first of the “specially named” OMEGAS, others being named the SEAMASTER 60, 300 etc. We seldom see the 30 appear. This is a larger sized watch, measuring 35mm. across and a sleek 10.9mm. thin. This watch is mostly dial, so it appears larger on the wrist. Speaking of the dial, this one is all original and has acquired a fine patina over the years. This patina is evenly distributed through the dial-that is a reflection in the upper portion…it is all evenly “creamy” throughout. The original hands are enhanced with black inlay. The OMEGA winding crown and signed hesalite crystal are both present. The seamonster logo on the case back is still clear. This gilded OMEGA caliber 286 movement gleams-I mean it sparkles! We recently had it cleaned and is accurately keeping time. I really love the entire look of this simple (hard to find) and classic OMEGA!
