This is a very early 32mm. vintage Oyster (by Rolex) circa 1920’s housed in an uncommon three piece case Sterling silver case with reed bezel, original radium dial and correct winding crown. The fine Rolex manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. These are among the very first Rolex Oyster watches and is similar to Mercedes Glietze’s Rolex Oyster she wore to swim the English Channel in 1927. These early Rolex are becoming hard to find and are an important part of Rolex history.
