Description
This 1971 vintage King Seiko is a prime and shimmering example housed in a ‘like-new’ 36.5mm gold-capped case with steel back. These cases have a thick layer of gold which really does not wear through over the years; hence the spectacular condition this watch exhibits. The very fine caliber 5625A automatic hi-beat movement is very accurate and was looked over by our watchmaker who said it was “sparkling”. The lustrous case back also displays the incredibly clean condition of this watch. The dial and hands are original and appear pristine. The original King Seiko winding crown is present. The band is very high quality. Gold-capped versions of the King Seiko are less common than the steel versions. This watch commands attention whilst being worn.
