Description
This is a vintage 1960s RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) Department of National Defence (D.N.D.) Rodania one-button chronograph, having a sparkling Venus 175 manual winding movement (just expensively dismantled and serviced by the best). The dial is original, having original lume, blued steel pencil hands (with correct RCAF lume) and red seconds – a classic, clean-dial design! These dials were never signed with the maker on the dial. The 36.5×43.5mm stainless steel case having the original RCAF screw back is without dings or major scratches. This case has a serial number showing it is #500. These watches were produced for the Canadian Air Force in small numbers and are highly coveted by military watch collectors worldwide. This is a prime, original, and amazing example!
