I have collected vintage bubblebacks and Canadian version Rolex for 30+years and this is the FIRST time I’ve found such a cool and rare watch such as this. To begin, this is the seldom seen flat-back 1940’s Rolex Oyster ref. 2765 bubbleback case (we used to call the tin can) and secondly is the very exotic original Rolex Centregraph dial with EXTREMEYLY RARE curved print and CHRONOMETER text. This exact dial has only been seen on the $50,000+ one button Rolex Centregraph and here it is appearing on the time only version! Rare “scientific” and exotic dials tend to be found with this case 2765 reference. Thirdly, this watch is stamped “chronometer” on the dial and houses one of their best manual winding movements at the time-adjusted to 6 positions and having 18 jewels. This watch is all original and correct-only the lume on the hands was re-done at some time. The correct Rolex Oyster winding crown is installed. The Rolex Oyster case measures a usual smaller 31mm. but really draws attention to your wrist. This watch is pretty cool.
