This 1971 36mm Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 is as clean as you will find. The caliber 1570 movement was just serviced and is keeping excellent time. The stainless steel and solid gold case looks amazing. The original dial and hands are preserved beautifully. We purchased this watch from Dave Betts the drummer of Honeymoon Suite band. He said it was time to let it go. I’m sure it had many adventures around the world! This truly is a very fine and extra-clean example considering its age and provenance.
