Description
This 35mm 14k solid-gold Rolex Eaton’s Quarter Century is all original. This Rolex watch dates to 1957. The Quarter Century was one of Rolex’s few custom watches produced. Eaton’s was one of Canada’s largest department stores for decades and gave these Rolex watches to employees who worked for the company for 25 years. We purchased this watch here in London, Ontario Canada. The entire watch is composed of all-original Rolex parts. The 35mm solid-gold-Rolex-signed case looks very clean; with only some dings between the lugs and not noticeable. The original dial has naturally aged and has taken on a very attractive patina that changes tones in different light. I love the raised-gold markers, spelling out the wording “1/4 Century Club”. The Rolex manual-winding movement is running quite accurately after a recent service. This watch retains the gold-Rolex-winding crown. This is the first time I’ve found this watch with the original Eaton’s box. With the high price of gold; this makes a fine watch to invest in and wear.
