This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Precision Meritus 34mm ref. 6594 looks essentially like-new. The cases of these watches are heavily plated in gold from the Rolex factory. We had this watch expensively re-plated; making it a perfect restoration. The original (untouched) two-tone dial is the best I’ve ever seen on this model and is absolutely pristine. The hands are original.The Rolex Meritus was produced only for the Canadian market in and about 1954 and ’55. The original Rolex automatic caliber 1030 butterfly (adjusted to five positions) movement was just overhauled and is keeping accurate time. These vintage Rolex Meritus watches are becoming very rare to find.
