I love the eye-catching (perfectly restored) black dial on this 30.5mm Rolex Oyster Observatory having Arabic numerals, pencil hands, and red sweep seconds with red 24-hour scale! The stainless steel Oyster case (ref. 2784) with original Oyster-patented winding crown is quite fine! These watches were smaller in size and mainly sold to the Canadian and British market in WW2 to soldiers going overseas. The caliber 59 (Rolex-signed) under the dial was just cleaned and is keeping time very well.
