This is among the most classic of all vintage watch made by Rolex. The 1970 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date has been in manufacture since about 1955 and still is produced today. This 34mm stainless steel case shows very clean overall condition and is without any major dings or scratches. The dial is original and simple with raised steel baton markers and hands. The dial has some slight aging that really does not detract, but adds some vintage appeal. The caliber 1570 movement (cleaned and accurate) is the same as used in the Rolex Submariner and alone is selling for $2500 for just the movement. We have priced this watch to sell quickly.
