Here is a vintage military, dress-style Rolex Oyster Precision, having a very uncommon two-tone case measuring 30.5mm! We call them the ‘boys size’ even though these watches were produced for the soldiers going overseas in WW2. The smaller size prevented these Rolex watches from being damaged during combat. Notice the solid-gold bezel, stainless steel (shining like platinum) case, ref. 5020 with original Oyster-patented winding crown. The 17-jewel caliber 700 movement is quite fine and adjusted to two positions with capped end jewels and superbalance! The restored dial, having red sweep seconds, outer minute register, original gold markers, and modern-style hands looks like new!
